SUPPORTING YOUNG WRITERS
I'm passionate about nurturing children's imaginations, helping them explore their thoughts, and instilling a love of writing.

As the vice-president of the Board of Directors for Uptown Stories, I promote the work of our non-profit in teaching creative writing to Upper Manhattan children. All children in the community are invited to our workshops, regardless of their family's ability to pay. We've worked with 5,500 students through 384,000 hours of instruction and published 17,000 pages of children's work.

As a children’s book writer, I offer free author's visits to elementary schools where I share my books and encourage children to create their own stories.
